Where required, affected individuals and/or Alberta's Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner will be notified.
PIPA requires notification where applicable breach thresholds are met.
12. Children's Information
Because Colbecca may provide services involving children and youth, information concerning a minor may be collected when reasonably necessary to respond to an inquiry, assess requested services, or provide agreed services.
Where appropriate or legally required, consent will be obtained from a parent, guardian, or other authorized representative.
